Photo Journal only asks one thing: a single picture, once a day. No captions to write, no streak to keep beyond that. String enough days together and it becomes something a journal rarely manages โ a visual autobiography you didn't have to sit down and write, and one day, a way for the people who loved you to see how you actually lived.
Most journaling fails for the same reason: the blank page. Photo Journal removes it. Once a day, open the app, take or pick one photo, done. It doesn't ask why the day mattered โ most days you won't know until years later, looking back.
Every entry drops into a running timeline, one frame per day, in order. Scroll back a year from now and you're not reading notes about your life โ you're looking at it. It's the raw material for an autobiography you never had to write a first draft of.
The whole app is small on purpose โ the archive is the point, not the features.
Once a day, the app nudges you. Snap a new photo or pick one already on your camera roll โ whatever the day actually looked like.
Each entry lines up on a single timeline, oldest to newest. No feed, no likes, no algorithm โ just the order you actually lived them in.
Your archive exports as a file you own outright, so it survives app updates, phone changes, and eventually, you โ a private legacy, not a platform's growth metric.
Real screenshots are going in these three slots as the build lands.

Google Play and the App Store are on the roadmap. Until then, this installs straight from the APK above โ you'll need to allow installs from outside the Play Store on Android.
