Journal is exactly what it sounds like โ a plain text entry, dated automatically, with nothing else asked of you. No mood trackers, no prompts, no streak counter guilting you into writing. Just a place to put down what happened, or what you're thinking, whenever you feel like it.
Most journaling apps compete on prompts, mood graphs and streaks โ extra layers between you and just writing something down. Journal skips all of it. Open the app, there's today's blank entry, and you write in it or you don't.
Entries are plain text, sorted by date, nothing more. Miss a day and there's no broken streak to feel bad about โ just an empty day sitting in the timeline, and tomorrow's entry waiting underneath it.
No settings to configure before you can start writing.
Open the app to today's entry and start typing. It saves as you go โ there's no save button to remember.
Every past entry lines up by date underneath, plain text, easy to skim or search back through.
Export the whole journal as a plain text backup any time โ it's yours, not locked to the app.
Real screenshots are going in these three slots as the build lands.

Google Play and the App Store are on the roadmap. Until then, this installs straight from the APK above โ you'll need to allow installs from outside the Play Store on Android.
